Through sin that dwells in us we may end up remiss in holy duties, lazy in religious activities, dull in spiritual delights and in all recumbent and careless. This is a dishonourable state for one in whom the quickening Spirit abides and it is extremely risky. Indeed, even wise virgins sometimes sleep, but it is high time for all to shake off the groups of sloth.
