I know you are wondering what is this one thing that you should keep on doing and perhaps that is what brought you here.
Well! there are so many things you can think of as a believer that are worth your attention and worth sustaining.
But in this blog, I share with you one of my greatest secret and weapon in my walk with the Lord which I hope will bless you. Some of you may already be doing it but nonetheless I write to you that your joy may be full.
So this is it;
This one thing has fueled and shaped my Christian life. Doing it broke certain addictions off me, again this one thing ushered me into my place of inheritance.
Literally, it has been a sustaining power to my Christian life even at my lowest point. It brings the life out of me when I am down and think all hope is lost.
Days where I seem to be at my worst; I find rest and solace in there. It tells me of my true identity (who I really am in Christ).
This one thing has taught me how to love and what true love really means, even if it is loving the unlovable. This one thing brings me peace, when I seem to be in turmoil. In times of confusion, I find my joy in there.
Because in His Presence there is fullness of joy.
Wait, I didn’t just mention it, did I?? Or Have you already figured it out?
This is the one thing, which some are in the habit of forsaking but you shouldn’t;
because it is in there that the glorious LORD will be unto you a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby (Isaiah 33:21 KJV).
If there is one thing to keep on doing to maintain your glow as a believer, it is fellowship with the Lord and fellowship with the brethren.
Because in fellowship you don’t only enjoy God’s presence, but you discover your role in life through your relationships with others.
Whenever we become careless about fellowship everything else begins to slide too. Remember, the church will outlive this universe and so will your role in it.
Many sometimes forget that the Christian life apart from your commitment to Christ; includes a commitment to other Christians too.
I can’t over-emphasize the importance of a church family. A church family will help keep you from backsliding. Let us remember this;
Mind your own business is not a phrase in Christendom.
For this reason, every Christian needs to be accountable to a church family. Particularly, be involved in a small group at church, it can be a church choir or a bible study group, there are many others too.
Just do well to join one and experience life together with other believers, because real fellowship doesn’t happen in isolation.
This is the one thing I wanted to tell you of. Hope you have been blessed and do well to share your thoughts too.
Never miss your personal fellowship with the Lord that is vital and should be prioritized but beyond that, never forsake the gathering of the saints.
