The Mother’s Love

From inception to conception, the pains of childbirth coupled with the nine months journey isn’t an experience we can easily overlook.

If you doubt ask the mothers??

No one is an exception here, for each and every one of us at one point or the other had a mother over our lives and it dawns on us to appreciate them.

There is this special thing we can all remember our mothers for and sometimes though you know, you cannot really explain it to details.

A call it the Mother’s Love, it is unfeigned, unfathomable and is actually that which causes a mother to go all length to see to the good of her children.

Is a sacrificial love and it wasn’t surprising that even when God wanted to describe the love He had for us, the only perfect example He found was that of a mother and her child.

I can confidently say, that apart from God’s love for us, nothing else compares to a mother’s love for her child.

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee (Isaiah 49:15 KJV).

“When you are looking at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know (Charley Benetto).”

And for many of us describing our mothers will be describing almost everything that has made us who and what we are today.

Our mothers are our superheroes and biggest supporters, but we usually don’t tell them enough how much they are appreciated.

Today is the perfect opportunity; Let’s celebrate our mother’s today, not forgetting all the other wonderful women who have also played such roles in our lives for they are a walking miracle.

  1. A beautiful Post. I’m so glad I dropped by even though I am late for Mother’s Day. .God’s Love for us is indeed unfathomable and feels beyond description. What you have written is appreciated in that context as well. Thank you. .
